CCHR is an independent, apolitical organisation set up to support children and their rights. The context is that there are as many as 2000 children working on the streets. The objectives of the project include, eventually, the ending of the exploitation of children in this way, and to reduce (and eliminate) the damage done. It aims both to inform children about their rights and about the opportunities they should be having – and to influence institutions, families and the media to change their values, so that children’s rights are respected.
